The cubic house forms part of our proyect
; Boxes of Light, and offer you the possibility of creating and personalising
your home. This proyect looks for the creation of cubic and modular architecture.
The modular effect tries to add horizontal or vertical cubes for including
or the yuxtaposicioning elements or moduls.
The cubic house is dweling of 1’75, 29 m ² and porch of 26,5m².
The access of dweling is by the porch, wich opens a big window, that shows
a form stucture or living room with open kitchen. A wall separates the bath
and the kitchen and unites the patio and two rooms, that at the same time open
to the patio. The stears mark access to the second floor, where one finds the
main beedrom with bathroom.
The choosen material has been the concrete for the exterior and interior. This
material increases the monumental geometricity of the construction emphasizes
the borders.
The horizontality and the lontitude of the hollows of the cover and the windows
amplified the light.This consist of a conteiner or box of light that overflow
the geometry.
Materials
As the proyect is looking for each client to personalize the diferents
forms of the
dweling. We limit our selves to suggestions that we would consider more appropiate:

Grey concrete inside and outside and floor.
- Grey concrete with a combination of color in walls, kitchen and bathroom.
- Outside with ceramica: Greco-Gres(FronteK), Porcelanosa(Ston Ker) o Saloni(a+a).
- White Plaster is a convencional option. And is possible the combination with
color or wood.
- If is possible diferents materials: zinc, steel.
- The use of security glass is essential in this construction.
- The carpentry type could be: galvanized, iron, steel.
Kitchen and Bathroom
Furniture:
The location in the home of the open kitchen , wich form part of
the living room is very important. We belive in an isolate kitchen. (See Bultaup
or Métodonuzzi
Kitchen’s).
The bathroom is essentially space, that the cube-house must be done with the
use of diferent color. We suggest use of Stucco Paint in the bathroom preferable:
blue or grey cement. Also the tiles of the bath with metallic gres.(See Bisazza).
